Our malt division is Australia’s largest malt producer. Producing more than 500,000 tonnes of malt annually making Viterra one of the world's largest malsters.

The company's eight malt plants are strategically located close to international ports and barley growing regions within all states of Australia – with the Perth facility being the largest malt plant in the Southern Hemisphere.

Malt produced by Viterra's malt plants is sold under the 'Joe White Maltings' brand name and supplies brewers in Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, eastern Russia and Malaysia.
